I think he is saying that your claim that he said dell was intel's only customer was as truthful as his claiming that you said that the earth was flat.

It was INTENDED to be a lie; the implication being that your statement was also a lie. Calling his statement, "a lie" when this was intended to be an obvious lie, may miss his point.
