"She must be a smoker, since I've been suprised more than once to see her puffing away in a scene..."

Aha...another pet peeve of mine. No, she is obviously not a smoker as you can see if you watch her smoke....she fakes it and does not inhale. Haven't you noticed the very high percentage of non-GP movies that have the lead character smoking? If you observe you'll see that very few of them are real smokers. The cigarettes add nothing to the movie so I can only conclude that the producers are being paid to include cigarettes in the scenes for advertising purposes. It doesn't take much thought to figure out who is paying them. Some members of congress have also taken notice (no doubt informed by their constituents) and rumblings about it are taking place. Subtle endorsements of products in movies have been taking place for a long time, eg Frank Sinatra and Paul Newman were always seen drinking Bud....

And btw, you're right about Roberts smile, I think you can see every tooth back to her wisdom teeth. She can look like a real bow-wow sometimes and other times look gorgeous... When I've seen her on Letterman she exudes a tremendous stage presence and is not silly or air headed as so many who plug their work are.... She's also a helluva actress.
