No, my thoughts are not outdated. Sharon is a hard lined Zionist. His plan has been for provoke this affair all along. He has unfinished business with Arafat. It stared 2 years ago on Temple Mount/Haram. These are the reasons why common Palestinians have resorted to such drastic measures. It's like hitting a man 10 times and then telling him he can't fight back. You would do no different if placed in the same situation. In this country there are demonstrations when the rights of Animals are limited, yet when a society of 4 million people are being treated like dog shit, most people support it because it's fighting against "terrorism". Contrary to you egocentric so-called "American" way of thinking, in the rest of the world, where information is portrayed in the CORRECT light, public opinion differs greatly. I encourage you to read the Wall St Journal today that talks about a moderate state and NATO ally like Turkey sick and tired of Israeli human rights violations. Here you are 100% for Israel when their is conflict even within the American and Israeli governments, with Powell and Peres on one side and Rumsfeld/Sharon on the other. There is no clear answer and by your being so gung-ho for one side truly shows your ignorance. By the way, I have heard the argument of the "Lebanese and Jordanians treated them worse," far too many times now. It's the same argument that was used to promote slavery, colonialism, and the holocaust, and it's WRONG, WRONG, WRONG.

If you post links and articles that go into it depth, horn will get upset. He wants this thread to be one where people just say things based on their imagination. Silicon Investor had a write up recently that promoted it as being a good place to go to learn about these issues. Knowing that, I am going to make sure that people get the stories presented to them. They can make their own decisions. I am on record as believing islam is a murderous religion, but I am going to keep posting stories to show why I believe that. The beauty of the internet is that it's not controllable, and if the information is there, it can be disseminated.
