08:56 ET Thomas Weisel cuts estimates for Sanmina-SCI, Celestica
Thomas Weisel cuts 2002-03 ests for SANM and CLS; for SANM, ongoing mkt woes are delaying inventory workdown and new product ramps, and expects rev growth to be driven largely by acquisitions with profitability likely to follow in 2H02; cuts FY02 rev/EPS ests to $10.4 bln/$0.17 from $10.8 bln/$0.21 and FY03 to $14.3 bln/$0.90 from $15.9 bln/$1.13. For CLS, weak end-mkt demand in enterprise and service provider sectors is likely to result in revs below forecast; lowers price target to $52 from $55, and cuts FY02 ests to $9.9 bln/$1.35 from $10.6 bln/$1.46 and FY03 to $12.0 bln/$1.75 from $12.8 bln/$1.85.
