I made no such statement. My point was that earnings may not justify the price.

I find it difficult to disagree with that. If investors would be completely rational then such things as momentum would not exist. It is not exclusive to investors since similar forces are driving economy.
I'd phrase it a bit differently though that is some inertia is built-in to our decision making process. :-)) BTW same is applicable to amd investors

here you are stretching it to a limit. I can not even imagine what part of my argument would reflect badly on intel employees. It might even be outside of management control, well, short of incentive plan part.
My comment was about value.
