Perhaps it did. Or perhaps we simply experienced a pause consolidating to 1700. I still think we have a chance to run above the Jan highs (caveat with "if we hold above 1700")...

Market breadth is very solid today despite the weak indexes. New highs and lows are not deteriorating much. I don't mind folks thinking we are in a nose dive. I'd be much more concerned if everyone was sure we were going to 2350...
