I would not expect to see Soma break the rank and file of WCDMA and CDMA2000 interests. If Sprint or Verizon go with any kind of technology for MMDS spectrum, they would go with CDMA2000 1XEV DO.

I would love to tell my cable company to shove it - ATT wireless. I would love to tell my local phone company to shove it - Bellsouth. I would love to tell my dial up modem company to shove it - MSN. Put all 3 services together for $125 and it's a slam dunk. Throw in 2 mobile phones for another $75/month and I can finally get all my bills paid in 1 shot for $200.

What would that do for the ARPU for 3G wireless? All of a sudden, you go from $60 a month to $200 a month. I guess all the investment was worth it after all.
