Is the only earning statements you read the ones that come from ABX? Didn't you see write-offs leading to the the lack of NEM earnings last quarter?
You MUST have an E to make a P/E ratio - stupid!

you need to
A. Be fully informed about the true RECENT earnings facts
B. write 100 times on the board "THERE MUST BE EARNINGS FOR THERE TO BE A P/E RATIO"
C. write 100 times on the board "The past is not the future."
