Dave: Not sure if this is known, but AMD chose McCann/Erickson as their advertising agency. They are extremely talented and rarely put out poor work.

Would you happen to know when this happened?

I assume it is quite recent, considering the nature and quality of AMD's previous advertising campaigns&#133

5dave22:

That makes UMC, Alchemy and now McCann/Erickson in FY02...Either AMD management is trying to follow INTc's steps by creating an image (without product backup???)rather than producing, or AMD knows that AMD has "a product" to knock the socks off INTC...Hey, nothing's for certain to be sure, but AMD's recent actions are strongly converging on a "knock out" upcoming product!!!
