Maybe, but the outcome is more likely INTC demotion...Just no way INTC's vapour attacks will compete with price/performance...The last 3 years were just "dress rehearsals" for AMD's encroachments on sacred INTC turf...INTC just has not got the future product lineup required to beat back AMD, no matter how much mud they sling...AMD's Athy, with all its awards, positioned AMD as a legitimate contender, and no more...However, AMD's Athy, even though competitive across all performance ranges, has not knocked out the champion, but certainly has demonstrated it can go the 15 rounds...Only a knockout will dethrone the champion...and perhaps Hammer is the product that delivers that knockout punch and dleivers the crown to AMD, uncontested (except maybe for the wanabee (have I got the spelling here icbm or is it utcm???) INTC groupies!!!
