Live & let live is a great philosophy, Joseph, as long as it's shared by the whole world. When another civilization, or at least the fanatic fringe of that culture, decides your lifestyle is a threat to theirs, action is called for in response. It's wierd....almost the Crusades, Part II.

Exactly what kind of threat do they perceive us to be to them? The fact that women have gained equal stature in our culture might be their greatest fear. What if Muslim women started to demand their rights?.....Osama might have to start helping change diapers. <g>

bush should shut his mouth when it comes to islam. he should focus his remarks on what terrorists did to us, and how we are going to address that problem. there was no reason for him to bring islam into the discussion.
