Uncle Frank, <<But the analysts' consensus for FY03 is 2.03>> You may want to check this week's Forbes piece by David Dreman on analysts' predictions. forbes.com Over 33 years, his study showed they were off by an average of 41% in their near-term forecasts of earnings per share. If they couldn't get it right for their 3 month forecasts, I don't think I'd put much faith in next year's. Besides, they didn't exactly distinguish themselves over the last couple of years.
