Well, I think that, up to the last minute, the Anglo-Saxon bourgeoisie banked on Hitler and Nazi Germany to neutralize Bolshevic Russia... And when they finally realized that Hitler was botching the whole scheme --and even worse, that Germany was on the brink of being defeated by the Russian military-- they just threw in the towel (on their German hopes) and moved in. The Yanks rushed to Europe to prevent it from falling in the throes of Communist revolution and to keep it under a capitalist/parliamentarian regime. They were successful as far as western Europe was concerned but had to give up on Eastern/Central Europe --and half of Germany. Somehow, the same endgame is being replayed today, just replace Communism by Islam(ism) and Nazism by Judeofascism: Putin and Judeofascist Russia proved inapt at repelling/containing Islam in Central Asia --enter America (in Afghanistan). Judeofascist Israel together with Europe (its main "demographic tank") are now proving unable to tame the Palestinians --enter America and its Muslim associates (Egypt & Saudi Arabia). Gus
