Hi Bill,

From an investment perspective, I have not been doing much. Like many I am wait from more visible to emerge. I have posted before that I thought the real buying does not happen till July, when people start looking for the signs of a true re-bound. Since April is traditionally a month we start to see a sell off, there has not reason to take anymore than scalping positions.

As we get closer to July, I have my eye on:

ESST - looking for continued growth in DVD players despite more players emerging in the field, current PEG is 0.74, could take a position soon, worth trading up to 25 short term on a pullback
TXCC: Chips for telecom products at the edge, edge should see recovery soon
ADTN: another play on the edge, business growth will drive T1/T2/E3 growth with carriers, positive cash flow despite weak market, slow growth but a cash flow machine
TLAB: demand for products will be drive by T1/T1/E2 growth, new products for the edge coming, good selling relationship with RBOCS (they have the money right now)

Other than that I would focus on stocks from the list I started as raising or confirming guidance during this pull back. They should re-bound first when we bound. I have not had time to check the fundamentals on most of them.

09:16 ET RFMD RF Micro Device: positive comments from Soundview (17.50)
We are hearing from sources that Soundview is positive on RFMD; checks indicate increasing GaAs wafer orders and rising module assembly throughput in Taiwan, and firm believes co is gaining significant mkt share in handsets and should benefit from WLAN, PDAs, and Bluetooth; believes design wins and pipeline are better than ever in RFMD's history, and firm would buy stock at current level.

08:32 ET QCOM Qualcomm to benefit from S. Korea strength: Bear (37.27)
Bear Stearns' Ripple Effect says that South Korea Telecom net subscriber additions were 630K in March and 1.3 mln for Q1, vs 803K in Q4; Bear says this is the third best quarter since Jan 2000; notes that while South Korea is only 25% of QCOM revenues, the strength will help offset weakness in US subscriber growth, and get QCOM to Bear's Mar qtr EPS estimate of $0.21 (consensus $0.20).
