IF "there was no recession", THEN...

...there can be no " recovery ".

(^_^)

what if you got up one day and thought, this is as good as it gets ?

kinda SUX! if'n you ask me, Dude: SnP is like, dead heat on a merry-go-round for the entire quarter ~ and TYX bonds are just drifting down, down. Ya hate to see malaise, decay in both stocks + bonds...

...you know, that's just destruction of kapital.

so like, I have this lil portfolio thingy rigged up that shows what woulda been my position had I just "held" onto my stocks + bonds as they were on 31-DEC-01, and I compare that to what I got at the end of ~90 days (where I was both 'trading' in the little account and 'actively managing' the big account; ie., rotating trades from one sector to another, and turning the StockFund, BondFunds ON & OFF, etc)

an' like, WOW man ~ big message to me was: you got to be active ... YOU GOT TO STAY IN THE GAME, Gonzo ~ stocks and bonds, man ~ you got to be in there watching all the stuff -- turnin' things ON and OFF, moving the dinero around...

...else it's just going nowhere, man ~ mebbe even DECAY :-/

hey you know, I'm whining and all that but ~ this used to be like, a gentlemen's sport or something...

...startin' to feel like damn survival now, preservation of kapital and all that: when we're "out" of stocks + bonds, whadda we s'posed to do, stick the cash into GOLD or something? sheesh !
