IGT downgrade: 7:46AM Intl Game Tech downgraded at Merrill Lynch (IGT) 61.15: Merrill Lynch downgrades to BUY from Strong Buy, trims 2002-03 ests, and cuts price target to $68 from $80; prior rating had been predicated on the potential for the proliferation of gaming given that states were struggling with budget shortfalls, but over the past several weeks enabling legislation in many states has become increasingly unlikely. Cuts 2002 est to $3.30 from $3.40 and 2003 to $3.90 from $4.00.
