I guess spirited debate and open minds are a no-no on this thread. Thereby demonstrating, once again, that you haven't read much of this thread. All we ask is that people read the book, refrain from spam, be reasonably polite, and remain more or less on topic. We ask that they read the book in order to establish a common vocabulary because those of us who gather here find that Moore has a world view of high tech that, for us, is useful in understanding certain aspects of the growth of these companies. We don't follow him or anyone else on stock picks, but simply share information and ideas. While we have some stocks on which we have a fairly broad consensus, there are many others that have champions, skeptics, and detractors. We would be happy to have you join in, but we do ask that you respect the purpose of the thread. SI has threads available for just about anything you might want. Not every thread serves every purpose.
