ot mitch, thx for your comments, especially the pro NVIDIA thoughts as I am long that stock to beat the band <g>. What are your thoughts on the recent attempt from a number of obvious shorting hedge funds trying to 'talk down' NVDA. Do you think NVDA is a good investment as a someone with far more knowledge here than myself? Latest was Bear-onn's that brought up the VERY old issue of Intel building onto their chipset graphic capabilities and thereby cutting into NVDA's biz. My thought was NVDA wanted middle to high end graphic need users anyway and can leave the low end equipment with smaller and smaller margin ability anyway to the default or low end no name guys. Seems like everything is moving toward a need for better Graphic processors as digital video/cam is becoming way more affordable. I always wondered and maybe you can help me here... if a family has a digital camera and wants to display pics as well as possible will the choice of NVDA over say the default make a big difference in terms of quality speed, precision of pic etc? Or, is the 'power' behind the chip really only evident in things like digital video feeds such as mpegs, games, etc.? Is there a site you know of I could learn more? NVDA home site is somewhat helpful but it's tough to get a feel for difference in quality from this description, for example, "For work or play, NVIDIA's home and home office solutions offer high speed performance, richer colors and greater resolution for graphically intense web surfing, gaming, and 2D and 3D applications." My home machine has an NVDA graphics processor and my digital video looks great! I guess it may be a situation that you don't know how bad bad is until you see better! TIA RO

OT: A Real time trading thread. It is truly a terrific idea. We have to be careful though to stick with truly liquid stocks. Small float stocks and penny stocks will one day again attract those who would manipulate markets and front run stocks. One of the best things about AdvocateDevil's trading is that it is absolutely impossible to manipulate a stock like AMAT. I therefore can easily see the honesty and integrity in his trading. Mitch-c I wanted to thank you for your advice. I have bookmarked your post and the next time my computer goes down from the problem I will write down what it is describing as the problem with the NVDA driver. It is so infrequent now that it is not too big a deal. The worse thing besides the actual crash is that it clears my cache. Thanks, RtS
