Moslem world distorted view of terrorism: KUALA LUMPUR (Reuters) - Islamic nations denounced Israel's crackdown in the Palestinian territories as state terrorism on Monday and accused the Jewish state of dragging the Middle East toward all-out war. Foreign Ministers from the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), meeting in Malaysia to discuss the root causes of global terrorism as Israel sent fresh tanks to the West Bank, urged the U.N. to give Palestinians international protection. "The Conference considered this assault a violation of all international norms and laws and culmination of state terrorism as practised by Israel," the ministers said in a statement issued shortly after the start of the three-day meeting. EOQ By this logic, US attack in Afganistan is even a worse form of "state terrorism" as it caused the inadvertent death of hundreds of civillians. The Arabs are trying to divert attention from the blood thirsty Palestinians, only last week, bombing the holy evening dinner in Natanya, killing 25 people and severly wounding tens more, and this is just one of countless similar heinous attacks. When Israel can no longer stand by and goes out to eradicate this terror, which Arrafat has refused to do what happens? The Arab world cries foul, accusing Israel of "state terrorism". The European community, in its hypocrisy calls on Israel to withdraw, while, in France the president says he cannot protect the Jews from Moslem attacks on Synagogues. The US is the only country in the world, decent enough to recognize the right of Israel to protect itself against the barbaric terrorism of Arrafat and his cronies.
