Hi Dak,

That's a funny coincidence. This morning I was going to write a similar message to you when I saw your post on the Gorilla Thread. I didn't want to be off topic so I erased it.

I was also going to warn you to be careful because I've been buying the same stuff as you. If I'm buying it, you had aught to be careful. I'm my own contrary indicator. <g>

I got them very close to the near term bottoms.

Actually I've been in the PM's a lot longer than you think.

This portfolio was created back when SI held that stock picking contest.
siliconinvestor.com
I placed 4th or 5th picking gold stocks instead of tech.

I nailed the bottom of the gold rush... This was created in Jan. of 2001 I think.

Unfortunately I would have done better with a buy and hold attitude. I traded myself out of a lot of profit.

I've been talking about $HUI and $XAU possibly making a short term top around here.
What do you think?

When half the threads and CNBS are mentioning Gold a lot more, it's possible that it's time to test the newbies' fortitude.
The Japanese are buying it like it was Sushi.

I bought a little bit of EWJ thinking that the Nikkei might be correcting upwards for a short period. Any thoughts?

I've come a long way since boxing on the porch with you.
If you are buying tech, I feel a little better holding it myself.

What else do you like.
