Sorry but you didn't adequately understand the scenario.

Time, space and mass are part of the temporal universe. Thus time requires events and states of nature to be explained in reference to "what" was before and "when" was before.

I will break down the scenario I described for a creator a little bit:

Not part of the temporal universe: God is not bound by descriptors that could in any way restrict. Descriptions using time is restrictive, space is restrictive, and mass is restrictive.

The alpha and omega: Existed before anything (temporal) and will exist beyond anything (temporal). In this case there isn't a before the before since time is not an issue beyond its function in the temporal universe.
