Hawks are very adaptable. The stories of peregrines in the Urban Canyons has always warmed my heart.

Hawks have been moving in to my neighborhood as well, at least they looked like hawks when I looked at them through the trees. What seemed odd is that there was about 5 of them in a small area. I didn't know they where social birds. I would have thought they would spread out so as not to kill all of the prey.

There are also dozens of deer in and near the trails and wooded areas behind my house. I recently saw about 18 or 20 of them all in one group. On the same walk I also saw two smaller groups of 3 to 5 dear.
