I'll brainstorm some ideas in the near future (perhaps next month) and post them for comment and input.

When you get a chance, I'd like your first impression comments on the "full disclosure thread" idea. One stop shopping to post trades and portfolios.

booked a host of consecutive wins in both directions with gains of over $7K

Nice job. I would have preferred to have rooted for you in RT, however.

OT: new trading thread:

There would have to be strict guidelines, for post headings, so others could rapidly sort through, and just read the ones they are interested in. How about:

1. all posts must start with the stock symbol
2. then, the action taken (using an agreed-upon shorthand, described in the thread header).
3. then, the reasoning and comments (if any).
4. no off-topic posts. Or, maybe allowed, if labelled as such.
5. all regular posters should reference, in the thread header, a post where they summarize their overall strategy and outlook (so everyone else can see whether they are following their own rules, and whether those methods are working).
6. I like the "full disclosure" name. Or how about the Naked Realtime Truth Thread?
7. moderated, and restricted to positions intended to be held less than a week. Any stock or option.

OT RTT Thread There's plenty of time for those interested to agree on the guidelines for a new trading thread. I'll brainstorm some ideas in the near future (perhaps next month) and post them for comment and input.

There seems to be overwhelming interest in beginning the new trading thread quite soon. It would be great to have your input soon on thread format, as you have lots of experience with RTT posting.

I'm especially interested in your thoughts on:

(1) whether the trading thread should be moderated
(2) whether the trading thread should be used exclusively for posts of trades
(3) how AMAT thread will be affected by RTT thread
