Aren't there about six million in the US? Nah, much less, but no one knows for sure since the Census didn't ask. The Islamist organization 'estimated' 6 million and like to toss the number around. More sober estimates are around 2 million Muslims. BTW, Muslim does not necessarily mean Arab. Quite so; the world's largest Muslim populations are in Indonesia, Malaysia and India and are not Arab at all. Generally their Islam is more easy-going, at least it was until the Saudis began trying to convert the whole Umma to their brand of Wahabbism. No, our problem isn't with them, it isn't even with the Pakistanis or the Afghans, really, or the Iranians (just their crazy mullahs). It's with the Arabs. It's the Arabs who are paranoid and blaming the rest of the world for their problems.
