How unimportant you make it all seem
I'm afraid that is your own projection. I see it as very important. It was important when people complained about Clinton bombing an "asprin" factory too. The difference now is that now it is more tragic for Americans, not that it is suddenly more important.

What it is not is a war. It is an international action against some particularly bad people. It is an event that is going to require diplomacy as well as marines. It will require rules on tracing money, weapons, and people to be sucessful. I only fear that Bush will determine that he can't handle it and will try to change the dynamic into a war.
