It seems obvious the Seybold has not used HSCSD, at least not on any Sonera-Telia network.

Btw, wasn't the Ssame eybold around at the time PCMagazine, etc had fun testing 9.6kbps modems
with or without compression (using a really long file filled with zeroes)??

Somehow I remember him taking 2-3 years to catch up with that too, and then he got lost in
trying to capture steaming video, also lost in orthogonal space.

Not to forget testing a lot of motherboards with different installations of strange windows,
but using the same chipsets and not even checking how the BIOS was set up??

Lehman suspects 2002 as being a "lost year" for data revenues for the sector, but expects a buzz from the Hutchison 3G launch in Q4 and multimedia messaging (MMS) launches throughout Europe in the second half lifting sentiment. AMEM!!
