<<The tardiness of Hermann to get comparative valuations of the package is puzzling>>

FWIW, Herman said at the meeting today that they cannot talk about valuation of the stones until they have processed 2,000 carats.

russett:

Will's article of July 18, 2001 suggested that it might be possible for TWG to get valuations from their current parcel of 46.208 carats, using Diavik as a guide. Diavik provided valuations from parcel sizes ranging from 50 to 250 carats:

"Twin Mining may be able to provide a very rough idea of the value of the Freightrain diamonds after the next round of sampling. If Twin can come up with 100 carats from 500 tonnes, the parcel would probably be sufficiently large to provide a few clues about value. The initial Diavik valuations were based on parcel sizes ranging from 50 to 250 carats, and those estimates seemed to provide a good first guess."

Geoff
