I think we are guessing about a turn date here, I would say 1757 will create a mild bounce, but the bounce should probably be sold. We will probably need two three days of a tick of -1000 and the equity P/C ratio approaching or exceeding 1 before we are ripe for the belated (if it comes, now quit doubtful) spring rally. The VIX and VXN have turned up, and until they start turning back down, we have to wait for a peak there, IMTO. Don't exclude a G&C in the morning, but one should not be fooled by such.

jj, either way we are quite oversold in the near term and need to relieve some of the washout. The key is to watch overhead resistance and trade accordingly. I think we could still have more downside after a bounce, as some very serious technical support levels were breached today.

People are not expecting market to test the lows and you know what it will do...test the damn lows. Watch for the test coming up real soon.
