Good news on large hedging positions:

News that Anglogold, the largest South African producer, will "substantially" reduce its forward sales-program -- the amount of gold it hedges via the use of derivatives -- also contributed to the gains in gold equities, Conti said, adding that gold stocks "still look attractive."
