Bush fabricates connections between Bin Laden and Husein to have a war with Iraq. tompaine.com The difficult thing to figure out is why Bush wants a war with Iraq. Is it to avenge his father's mistakes in the Gulf War aftermath? Is it to distract from the conflict against terror? Saddam is nobody's friend but nothing seems to connect him to Al Qeida. Lately I have been seeing reports trying to tie Iraq into the Palestinian conflict. I think Bush doesn't think he can stop the Al Qeida network and wants something to fight where he can define a victory. Saddam doesn't hide away in the mountains protected by the intelligence service of our supposed allie. TP
