Eric. Give me a break. Korea only uses the 3G designation for wireless services using the recently auctioned 3G spectrum and YOU KNOW IT. Thus 1X RTT rel 0 at 156Kbps or Rel A at 312Kbps is called 2.5 G even though it meets or exceeds the international definition of 3G.

Bill Gates: Who needs broadband?
01 April 2002
Bill Gates' latest plan for world domination is.Net, a web services platform consisting of software components connected to each other across the internet, and which could provide operators with some fascinating new revenue streams. Here he talks to Danny Bradbury about why he is willing to take a considerable gamble on it becoming successful, how broadband isn't that important and describes IBM as his only real competitor.

Communications International:Communications International: So far broadband take up on both sides of the Atlantic has been fairly disappointing because of the problems with dsl companies. Isn't this going to affect the viability of your plans for web services and.Net.
