I don't use netscape so there may be an easier way but a search shows that you can set up a filter to block senders or whole domains. Here's a link. You can do your sender a favor and tell him what was sent to you so he can try to clean his infected machine. He is probably unaware that he has sent it to you.

Larry, I realize you use Netscape Messenger for e-mail, but consider how easy it is in MS Outlook Express to block a sender...

highlight that sender's e-mail
click MESSAGE and then BLOCK SENDER.
That's it.

"using netscape 4.9 as my email... where can i set up the filter to block all messages from this sender"

open a messenger window, select 'edit', then 'message filters'.

select 'inbox', then 'new'

you can then select 'sender' of the message 'is', and enter the email addy you wish to block. click OK and that should do it.

for more info on netscape email filters, remember you can select 'help' from the browser window top menu or from the messenger window top menu, then 'help contents', then 'using email'

Did you ever find the way to block the sender with Netscape?
