Dale:

GMST looks very do-able even though the ITM probability is only 37.4%. Resistance area will be around 13 and your cost basis is reduced to below the low. 13.7% not assigned and 22% assigned.

Same with GLW. 16.3% unassigned, 17.2% assigned. Your cost basis takes to the lowest low where support should enter. Probability 42%

JDSU same. Probability 54%. 27% unassigned, 15.5% assigned.

I think they're all do-able provided they don't become another Enron.

JMHO,

Dominick

Just curious about your thoughts about writing the May 10s versus the April 10s on GMST. And writing the 10s vs the 12.5s.

Currently thinking about the buy/write with the Apr10s myself on GMST. Also thinking about the buying the Nov5s and selling May 12.5s. If it ramps, sell the Nov5s and buyback the 12.5s for a loss.

>> Bought GMST @ 9.5 - Sold May 10 Calls (QLFEB) @ 1.25.

That's a good plan, Dale. I'm tempted, but I'm concerned it may still be in the falling knife stage. Think I'll watch it for a few days. I'd rather not try to time the bottom on this baby.

>> Maybe by the time the positions "mature" next Fall I will have decided what digital camera to buy.(g)

There might even be some prosumer Foveon Array models by then. But to be honest, figuring out which camera to buy is at least half the fun -gg.

On April 3 I wrote:

I see that GMST closed at 10.01. Talk about a cIiffhanger! I can't tell yet whether the calls were exercised. If exercised that will be a 17% return. If not, I can write again. The June 10 call is bid $1.25.

The other buy/writes that I mentioned in that post are both under water with drops in GLW and JDSU, but they still have 6 and 4 months, respectively, left to play themselves out.
