I actually think Enero would be OK as a brand name. Enron will be largely forgotten a year from now. If the Hammer is as good as we think it is, it will get a lot of free publicity. "Athlon" has a positive image today, not because of advertising, but because, when it was released, it was the fastest computer you could buy.

But "Athlon 64" is definitely a better choice than Enero. Advertising for "Athlon 64" should emphasize that it is the only 64-bit PC processor and the fastest you can own, yet at a reasonable price. If/when Microsoft releases a 64-bit Windows with the number '64' in the name, well, that will just be icing on the cake.
