Timing is everything... Michael Dell is smart... If you are going to come out with something bullish, why not do it when NDX is dealing with a nice 78.6% Fibo retracement of a preceding impulsive rally... <g>

<<Maybe just a coincidence?>>

Nah... He probably reads this thread - BG

Or else, he's got a good gut.

<<He always seems to come out and give some positive spin when the market is in a decline nearing or breaking major support levels. Maybe just a coincidence?>>

What's more impressive is that Dell has had their quarterly update call scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday) for many days/weeks now, and as usual, they issued their PR the night before. Makes you wonder how Michael Dell knew we'd be declining AND at major support at the close today when that meeting was scheduled. Hey. . . who DID schedule it? Anyway, he is clearly more powerful and prescient than I ever gave him credit for (except that he failed to be prescient about his own business's downturn).

I am also confused, because I know I read on another thread last year that it was John Chambers who gave guidance at key moments and worked for da Boyz. Apparently, that's wrong? At least we know it's not Scott McNealy! (Or maybe that's what they want us to think?)

I'm just funning ya a little John, because I've never seen Michael Dell and Alan Greenspan at the same time, so anything is possible. And believe me, I know full well that the truth is out there. . . somewhere.
