Any of you guys have the old AMD northbridge chipsets? Good news (I hope). There are new drivers for those chipsets to work with Windows XP. amd.com I complained about Windows XP initially but it was actually the AGP drivers for the AMD chipset and the ATI video card I had that was causing my headaches with Microsoft's newest. AMD flat didn't have XP drivers so I had to buy another motherboard with the VIA KT266A setup to make the software work. This is great news for users.

If you are an investor I would worry about 2nd quarter ASP's since I just bought another 1800+ Palomino OEM version for $106.00. Should be here Friday. Those Intel guys just don't get it. Great performance for a great price. It sucks for investors though since the company continually has to try to survive in Intel's shadows.
