My point was that there may soon only be one customer for Intel (and AMD) other than the myriad of smaller firms. AMD has long been happy (well, used to working with) with lots of small sales.

If this business consolidates down to 1 major OEM and a bunch of minor players, the major OEM will have nothing to fear from a supplier who will have no where else to go to sell its wares.

The weird thing is that as Intel favorite son Dell becomes more and more successful, it becomes less easily influenced by Intel.
