Applied Films German Facility Consolidation Complete
LONGMONT, Colo., April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Applied Films Corporation (Nasdaq: AFCO - news), a leading supplier of thin film deposition equipment to the flat panel display (FPD), architectural, automotive and solar glass, and the consumer products packaging and electronics industries on March 1, 2002, celebrated the commencement of the production of its first chamber for a vacuum web coating system in their new manufacturing halls in Alzenau, Germany. The arrival of this chamber is the culmination of a year long project to construct new facilities to house all of Applied Films' German operations in one location.
