That's the honest truth. I've many problems with Intel servers over the years, but almost none with AMD servers.


Yes! I share your experience. I used to wonder if my servers were getting bombarded by cosmic rays or something. When I placed AMD based servers right beside the intel based servers I noticed the intel based servers kept having "weird things" happening. And the AMD based servers performed without trouble!

And BTW...the AMD based servers I have built and use NOT only run with superior stability, they have delivered excellent Performance too. AMD Based Servers are my preference...by experience!

With Intel not helping Microsoft and Linux being obscure software, what is Intel going to do for an operating system? Write one itself?

They do have a pretty good start, writing benchmark programs.......
