Dave, Optus is betting $35 million per year that Nortel will thrive during the next five years. I say that is a great vote of confidence.

Maybe they're betting they can get $175 million worth of product in the first year, then hope not to pay when NT goes bankrupt next January!?

I don't think Nortel will be in business in 5 years. Maybe that's what Optus is thinking.

BTW, congrats on the Moody's Nortel downgrade today. Nortel did fall like a "rock" when it happened. Good call... <vbg>
