Crocodile, The land around the neighborhood creek is mostly owned by the University of California at Davis. They have various labs around the levee area where I put in, and I suppose that I might be able to get permission to store the rubber duckie inflatable nearby, but it's not such a problem to transport it there either. Putah is a lovely little creek. I have only just begun to explore it, but there is lots of information at bioregion.ucdavis.edu The canoe sounds good for all that gear. If/when I decide I want to multitask on the water, or go out en famille, I will look into one. Sam
