Not much in the way of targets in Afghanistan, either. US airpower did quite a bit, though.

The Palestinians are pretty tightly packed, lots of civilians around. Hard to target a suicide bomber with a cruise missile.

On the bright side, I still see very little chance of this blowing up to the dreaded "regional conflict". I don't see anyone with an army jumping in on the Palestinian side. The Israelis will do their usual thing, mop up what they can, grab some leaders, etc. The Palestinians will keep right on doing what they do: the Israelis have been using this sort of response for ages, and it hasn't worked yet.

Maybe we should supply both sides with weapons, then we'll move the Kurds in after they've finished slaughtering each other.

They seem to be doing pretty well with what they've got.
