Don't read that noise...fact is it was Arafats decision, he did not bring it to the Palestinian people for a vote...I think Israel's offer is/was better than they have today.... it's nonsense to look back on the road after a certain path was declined by arafat....and nobody really knows the real offers made today by Israel, however, there is no reason for Washington to paint the picture one way or the other...but it was an opportunity lost. The next steps are very critical for the very existence of a Palestinian land....there are no guarantees in life...none! If I was King of Jordan or Saudia Arabia I could create a paradise for all Palestinians and peaceful Arabs to live in....I have no doubt!!!!!!!! And it would not be in Israel! But, those countries don't really care! Arafat was born in Egypt!
