CB, the US is not the World. My point was that Israel should not act based on the World opinion including Europe. It is true that the US is presently a great friend of Israel, but then again US interests are first and this is understandable but some times those interests are not in line with Israel best interests as it is now. It may be that the two governments also think differently and only time will tell who is right. IMHO Israel now should go ahead and destroy the PLO and it's henchmen and after that a new leadership will emerge like Mr. Nuseiba who has some reason and admits that the PLO policy has not advanced the people cause. With this post I will stop posting on this tread as I am widely misunderstood.
