OT .... <.. since I'm very allergic to dings> John, you'd really be sneezing wildy this morning if you were in my XK8 (white, cream interior) as a woman in her SUV hit me from behind @ approx. 10mph. Fortunately, the rear bumper's shock absorber took the total impact extremely well with only bumper scrapes & a small truck dent -- NO structural damage nor dis-alignment whatsoever. $1000 damage estimate and 2 days loss-of-use when repair is done. Me on the other hand was minorally shaken especially when the open coca cola (not crown royal) in my cup holder erupted all over me and the car's interior. After the police took the report (and gave her a citation) I played 18 holes 10 under my handicap .... and life goes on. Oh well, off to eat GREAT Italian food (maybe some crown royal too) after 8-day Passover restrictions come off at sundown.
