Are talking about the war that the Filipinos fought against the US for independence after the Spanish-American War? That's the one. A whole lot of forgotten history there. Another dishonor was the unredeemed promise of citizenship and veteran's benefits that the US made to Filipinos that fought on the US side in WW2. There are old men running around still trying to get what they're owed. Not a happy sight. We owe them a few things from that period; we did not behave well in these parts in the immediate aftermath of WW2.
