what happen if I get into another piece of shit that goes down another 50%, then I am down 75% in 2 stinky trades ...

1) do not hold anything overnight unless there was already a RECENT warning and the stock is in an upswing
2) Stop out early and often, and I mean very early
3) Do not overallocate on any trade that is held overnight

Nearly impossible to lose another 50% if you follow those rules.
