EMPTY OCEANS, EMPTY NETS

Hi bia,

Thanks for the kudos, most of our friends on the Right seem to content themseves with remarkably content-free rantings and ravings, so I try to provide a little balance to this loonie bin. Tough assignment with the willingly self-delusional.

PBS is going to have an Earth Day Special, for some reason presented the day after Earth Day. Bureaucracies can be tedious, oui?

It's called "Empty Oceans, Empty Nets". It's in keeping with the Gale Norton mantra at the Department of Internal Rape & Pillage and Don Evans at the Department of Conniving for Capitalists - "An empty mind is a bureaucrats best asset!" No thought, no guilt, no knowledge. A perfect combination.

In 1996, Norton, the woman in charge of the public interest in domestic land issues said: "(We) might even go so far as to recognize a homesteading right to pollute..."
From a Harvard Law Review article she authored on takings regulations.

"Empty Oceans, Empty Nets"

would seem to be Norton's prefered result for her children and grandchildren. Let them eat cake!

Salaam aleikum
