Huh. Clinton was socialist. He was just too cowardly to stick to his guns. If you doubt me, just read what self proclaimed socialist Robert Reich has said on this subject.

Clinton's idea of fiscal discipline was to increase spending all over the place. The only "fiscal restraint" he practiced was in choking the military of funds. (Why are so many soldiers on food stamps?) Clinton's idea of world piece was to give Israel to the terrorists. Each of these is diametrically opposed to the current administration.

We are in the mess we are in because of the weakness in foreign policy from our previous administration. As many Al Gore supporters have said since September 11th, thank goodness Bush is the President and not Al.

I didn't vote for Clinton, but the dude got results.

Even in the face of a tidal wave of opposition.

He got high regard, even without a war, even with the Republican leaders in his pants the whole time.

You knew when he was talking that it was him talking. Even when you couldn't get him to shut up you at least knew it was him doing the talking.

Not some 1960s American warlord pulling the strings and his son practicing a script.
