When J&J decides to sell direct, cost of goods sold drops with the gravitational pull of Jupiter, and CTAC lowers the price it sells J&J lenses for. So, if J&J were to abide by the Federal Judge's rule in Florida, consumers win. Loser is this would be eye docs who want not only to do the vision tests, but sell J&J contacts rather than have their patient get the prescription from the doctor and buy the lenses wherever they please. Is J&J being fair to the consumer? The J&J effort is like going to the doctor for itchy crotch, getting the prescription and then having the doctor say, "Oh, but you can only buy it from me." Shaolin temple priests think that game is in the late innings.
